Cybersecurity Engineer
Montreal ( 100% remote work, with occasional travel for meetings.)
6+ months contract job.

TECHNOLOGIES OR SKILLS REQUIRED:

• 
  
• 5 to 7 years of experience in incident response or security engineering.

• Proven experience in SOC Level 2 and 3 (up and running from day 1).
• Proficiency in CrowdStrike (EDR/XDR).
  o Implement, configure, and optimize detection and monitoring tools (EDR/XDR, SIEM, CSPM, CWPP).

o Integrate critical system event logs into the SIEM.

• Experience with the cloud, ideally AWS (or Azure/GCP).
• Ability to collect Google Workspace, Jira, and SaaS application logs.
• Experience with SOAR and automation.
• Develop and automate response playbooks for cloud and SaaS scenarios.
• Advanced Python skills.
• Experience in threat hunting (MITRE ATT&CK) and forensic analysis.
• Ability to lead complex investigations with rigor and composure.
