We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Cybersecurity Engineer. The PKI and Crypto Core Squads are agile DevOps teams within Data Protection Services (DPS) and are responsible for engineering, developing, and operating secure storage and management solutions for encryption keys, passwords, certificates, and other sensitive data. The technology stack consists of home-grown software, 3rd party and open source products and auxiliary services and solutions.

This is a Cybersecurity Engineer position at Vice President level, which is part of the job family responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that support business needs.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO IN THE ROLE:

  • Design and implement solutions across platforms to enable cryptography services. This includes developing solutions in-house and 3rd party code customizations.
  • Interface with technical/developer contacts at vendor providers and other internal teams as part of the development cycles (requirement gathering, design, implementation, productionizing and adoption.
  • Work with the Product owner, architecture, DevOps and Engineering Cryptography teams across the globe to ensure developed solutions are vetted and aligned with the overall strategy.
  • Participate in team meeting in a daily basis and in customer or vendor meetings when expected.
  • Document the design and implementation artifacts and share the knowledge with the internal teams.
  • Contribute to the team values: knowledge sharing, team work, agile mindset, bringing in areas for improvement and solution suggestions.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE:

  • Good understanding of enterprise authentication, web security, Kerberos, Active Directory (AD)
  • Experience of public key infrastructure (PKI), key management solution and cryptographic techniques
  • Experience of developing in Java, .NET, or other language including object orientated coding
  • Proven architectural and design background
  • Knowledge of Agile and DevOps
  • Experience with container and virtualization technology such as VMware, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
  • Knowledge/experience on Windows as well as Linux based authentication products and services
  • Knowledge of secure coding techniques and IT security principals in general
