Position Summary:
Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Cybersecurity Engineer to support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s PEO Digital Directorate (AFLCMC/HB) at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA. The AFPEO/HB manages a portfolio of more than 130 modernization, development, testing, production, fielding, and sustainment programs for the U.S. Air Force and allied partners.
The selected candidate will assist in the design, development, integration, and testing of cybersecurity requirements; provide system authorization and accreditation (A&A) support; and guide implementation of Risk Management Framework (RMF) security controls across Air Force systems.
Responsibilities:
In this Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) role, you will provide expert-level cybersecurity engineering support to Department of Defense (DoD) programs, assisting government leadership with decision-making, planning, and execution throughout the acquisition lifecycle. You will ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations, contribute to mission success, and help deliver critical capabilities to the warfighter.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain an Active Secret clearance
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a professional engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited educational program and at least 7 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline, 3 of which must be in the DoD.
Certifications: Security +
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Master’s degree in a professional engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited program.
