Description About QBE, LLC QBE, LLC is a mission-focused defense support organization providing technical and cybersecurity services. QBE is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to support the MCCOG/MCEN mission per SOW requirements, delivering technical, operational, and engineering functions aligned with enterprise network defense and operations. Key Responsibilities Prepare, implement, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity policy, to include Assessment and Authorization requirements. Duties: Plan, implement, upgrade, and/or monitor cybersecurity measures to improve cyber defense and maintain a cyber resilient network Assess cybersecurity vulnerabilities for risks and propose and implement remediation actions or risk mitigation strategies Ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and electronic infrastructure Respond to computer security breaches to re-establish protections and make required reports #qf #qg Requirements Required Qualifications 10 years of professional experience with cybersecurity engineering Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science or equivalent Active Secret clearance Ability to work onsite Strong knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 controls. Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management. Ability to sit for extended periods. Ability to lift at least 25 lbs periodically. Ability to commute to the required work location daily.
