Description
SAIC is actively seeking a Cybersecurity Operations Instructor to enhance our Cyber Operations Courses in Little Rock, Arkansas. Positioned at Little Rock Air Force Base, you will join a team passionate about instructing Air Force Mission Defense Teams (MDT) / Mission Assurance Cyber Coordination Elements (MACCE) tasked with protecting our nation’s critical infrastructure.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must possess a Bachelors degree and five (5) years’ of relevant experience; Additional four (4) years’ experience can be considered in lieu of degree.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must possess an active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI; US Citizenship required.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

  • Proficiency with one or more of the following technical skills Linux CLI, Windows PowerShell, and networking (OSI Model, subnetting, protocols).
  • Additional experience in any of the following is favorable: Mission Generation, Aircraft Components, Functional Mission Analysis, system administration, cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS), Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Programming, cyber threat landscape,intrusion analysis (Diamond Model, kill chains, MITRE ATT&CK), SIEM, and/or cyber threat intelligence.
  • Prior experience in educational roles, remote instruction delivery, or instructional design is advantageous.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver on-site and remote instruction for cyber operations courses, including development and execution of curriculum throughout the year.
  • Provide expert coaching, teaching, and assessment for students in alignment with Air Force MDT/MACCE and DCO curriculum, including offering feedback and progress reporting.
  • Actively participate in the evaluation of course material, suggesting updates and corrections to enhance the learning experience.
  • Engage in collaborative efforts with fellow instructors and staff to develop, refine, and update course materials as per customer requirements.
  • Effectively utilize cyber range operations in course instruction, coordinating with range engineers to support dynamic, hands-on learning environments.
