Description

Primary Function:
The Cybersecurity & Network Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the district’s technology infrastructure, cybersecurity, and operational technology functions. This role involves systems administration, network support, troubleshooting, problem resolution, security policy development, and incident response while ensuring adherence to various regulations and best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS – EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology preferred, or relevant experience required.
  • Highly motivated person experienced in Windows Server, Windows Desktop, MacOS, iOS, ChromeOS environment.
  • Experience managing a Windows Active Directory Domain. Including User and Computer management, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy Management, etc.
  • Experience managing Windows Print Servers.
  • Proficient with SCCM 2016 Package management, operating system deployment, reporting, software patching, etc.
  • Proficient with JAMF MDM for MacOS and iOS software packaging and deployment as well as policies and configuration.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 including Exchange online, Intune device management, Office 365, etc.
  • WAN/LAN configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Effective organizational and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of computers, computer components, computer peripherals and operating systems.
  • Knowledge of data networks.
  • Knowledge of software packages.
  • Skills in problem solving.
  • Skills in prioritizing and managing a variety of tasks simultaneously.
  • Skills in learning new technologies, processes, and procedures and adapting rapidly to change.
  • Skills in communicating both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to learn quickly and integrate new information.
  • Ability to engage vendor support as needed and work continuously when situations demand.
  • Physical ability to bend and lift heavy equipment or boxes.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the highest level of technical support for the district.
  • Manages the district technology management systems.
  • Manage physical and virtual server configuration and maintenance.
  • Switching/Wireless infrastructure configuration and maintenance.
  • Manage web and mail filters, including historical data retrieval.
  • Manage Google Workspace administrative console.
  • Network infrastructure maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Install, terminate, and maintain network electronics for voice, video, and data networks.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on IT infrastructure and equipment.
  • Deploy and manage software installations using MDM solutions (SCCM, JAMF, Intune, G Suite).
  • Serve as an MS Intune infrastructure engineer.
  • Develop and enforce security policies and infrastructure.
  • Manage Endpoint and cloud app security (Trend Micro XDR).
  • Manage cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Develop and maintain IDP/IAM setups and operations.
  • Configure and maintain firewalls and endpoint detection response (EDR) systems.
  • Manage virtual infrastructure (VMware ESXi).
  • Conduct internal and external vulnerability scanning, patching, and remediation.
  • Maintain and test backup infrastructure for on-premises and cloud data.
  • Actively participate in incident response and threat hunting.
  • Continually optimize network security and infrastructure.
  • Maintain regular and predictable in-person attendance.
  • Support the Oxford Community Schools’ vision and mission.
  • Perform other duties as required.
    Reports to:Director of Technology
    Salary Range: starting at $78,066; commensurate with education and experience.
