Role Summary The Cybersecurity Practitioner is a key hands‑on member of the organization’s Information Security team. The role is responsible for implementing, operating, monitoring, and continuously improving security technologies and controls across the organization. This position ensures the protection of corporate assets, supports secure infrastructure operations, and collaborates with IT, cloud, and business teams to maintain a robust security posture . The role involves deployment and hardening of security systems, proactive monitoring, incident response, automation of security processes, and maintaining compliance with organizational policies and industry standards. Reports to: CISO – Chief Information Security Officer Requirements Professional Requirements • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with implementation and management of cybersecurity technology . • Experience with Firewall, NAC, EDR, WAF, Email security solutions, Active Directory, Microsoft OS, MS Defender, MS 365 • Understanding of routing, switching, communication protocols • Experience with incident response and security monitoring tools – advantage • Experience with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) – advantage • Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation – advantage • Professional certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, Palo Alto, CompTIA Security+) – advantage • High‑level English – mandatory Personal Skills • Proactive attitude, strong sense of ownership, and commitment to continuous improvement. • Ability to lead technical tasks end‑to‑end independently. • Strong service orientation and communication skills . • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities . • Fast learner with the ability to stay current with cyber technologies and threats. • Strong documentation skills—procedures, architecture diagrams, runbooks . • open‑minded, collaborative approach with the ability to bring fresh ideas and drive innovation within the security team.
