This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and oversee the governance, strategic planning, and risk management of cybersecurity operations within a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment. As part of the Cybersecurity Operations team, the individual will be responsible for driving key initiatives that enhance the organization’s cybersecurity posture and ensure that security operations align with business goals and regulatory requirements. The Cybersecurity Project Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of cybersecurity strategies and ensuring the team’s success in combating emerging threats.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on program management, risk management, and governance in large organizations.
  • Proven track record in leading security operations teams and overseeing large-scale cybersecurity projects.
  • Strong understanding of security governance, risk management, and the development of security programs within an operations context.
  • Experience with security platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel, IBM QRadar, Palo Alto, and Microsoft Defender, as well as project management tools like Jira and Microsoft Project.
  • Relevant certifications like CISSP, CISM, PMP, or similar security program management credentials.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex security issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work in an evolving security landscape and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Foster teamwork within the cybersecurity operations team and facilitate communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Oversee complex cybersecurity projects, including milestone setting, resource allocation, progress tracking, and timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to enhance security processes, frameworks, and methodologies, driving a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Deliver clear and concise updates on project status, risks, and security initiatives to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with external organizations and regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to security standards and best practices.
