JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Project Manager with solid skills in technology and security to join our dynamic team and take charge of developing cutting-edge strategies to protect our clients from evolving risks. A key player, the Cybersecurity Project Manager will craft strategic technical architectures, implement critical security and privacy programs, and ensure full compliance with ever-changing data regulations. Responsibilities:

  • Proofread and format technical and policy documents.
  • Refresh and establish cybersecurity policies and procedures.
  • Advise clients in cybersecurity and privacy controls and regulations including various NIST frameworks and FISMA.
  • Interpret security control intent and apply to technologies and processes.
  • Assist client in identifying and mitigating security risks in government cloud environments and legacy IT on-premise systems. Also assist in assessing risk with emerging technologies such as AI and quantum computing.
  • Also evaluate use of emerging technologies use in automating and streamlining cybersecurity monitoring and reporting.
  • Actively participate on cybersecurity consulting engagements and work with a team and the client to deliver the highest quality of work.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in IT general controls and cybersecurity.
  • Work across multiple stakeholders to understand business needs, concerns, and risks.
  • Analyze problems, apply quantitative analytical approaches, communicate effectively and confidently, work well in team environment.
  • Create and deliver high quality presentations and reports to effectively communicate project findings.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Certifications: PMP, CISSP, CISM, or similar.
  • 6+ years of experience in IT project management, cybersecurity consulting, or related fields, supporting government or highly regulated industries.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and standards, such as NIST and FISMA.
  • Proven ability to analyze, interpret, and implement cybersecurity controls across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments.
  • Experience developing, reviewing, and updating technical documentation, security policies, and procedures.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies such as AI, particularly in the context of cybersecurity risk assessment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead mid-sized teams and manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
