Job Summary: This exciting, full-time opportunity is an entry-level role directly with Pellera Technologies. The Cybersecurity Service Desk Agent is responsible for providing quality and efficient monitoring and management of client systems within Pellera's managed services environment. We are seeking a driven individual with an investigative mindset who wants to break into the cybersecurity industry within defensive security operations. The shift for this position will be Monday through Friday, midnight to 8:00am EST. Please do not apply if you cannot work this night shift. Key Responsibilities Monitor, manage and secure client systems Identify, track and investigate threat campaigns and malicious cyber actors Analyze security threats from a wide range of technologies Escalate incidents based on established processes Document incident details within ticketing system Interface with clients in a professional manner Perform other tasks when deemed necessary Knowledge, Competencies & Qualifications Burning passion for breaking into the cybersecurity industry Critical thinking and investigative skills Some knowledge of cyber threat actors and campaigns Some knowledge of threat analysis and reporting An understanding of what security technologies are capable of such as SIEM, firewalls, endpoint security, vulnerability management and patch Understanding of computing, network and security fundamentals Prior experience utilizing a ticketing system is highly desired 1-2 years working within customer service is a plus CompTIA certifications are a plus Pellera provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
