Position Summary The Cycle Count Supervisor is responsible for leading warehouse operations with a primary focus on inventory accuracy, cycle count execution, and Month-End / MOR reporting integrity. This role oversees daily material movements while maintaining strict governance over inventory controls, system transactions, and reporting accuracy to support financial, operational, and audit requirements. The position is accountable for an assigned warehouse area and serves as the primary owner of the Cycle Count Program and supporting inventory metrics. Key Responsibilities Inventory Control, Cycle Count & MOR Ownership Own and manage the Cycle Count Program, including daily, weekly, and monthly cycle count schedules. Ensure cycle counts are executed accurately, on time, and in accordance with established procedures and audit requirements. Investigate inventory variances, identify root causes, and drive corrective and preventive actions to improve inventory accuracy. Maintain and report inventory accuracy metrics, including MOR reporting, cycle count accuracy, and variance trends. Partner with Finance, Planning, and Operations to ensure inventory movements, adjustments, and reconciliations are accurately reflected in the ERP system. Support Month-End Close, MOR, and Annual Physical Inventory, ensuring all required documentation, explanations, and reconciliations are completed accurately and on time. Ensure compliance with SOX, internal controls, and audit standards related to inventory management. People Leadership & Performance Management Lead, train, coach, and develop warehouse personnel with an emphasis on inventory discipline and system transaction accuracy. Assign and schedule labor, including cycle count resources, to meet operational and reporting requirements. Ensure all employees obtain and maintain required certifications (e.g., forklift licenses). Establish performance expectations and KPIs related to inventory accuracy, cycle count completion, and MOR readiness. Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and participate in hiring and onboarding activities. Continuous Improvement Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy, process standardization, and reduction of recurring variances. Utilize structured problem-solving tools to eliminate root causes of inventory discrepancies. Support ERP process improvements and standard work development related to inventory and warehouse controls. Minimum Qualifications 4-5+ years of materials, inventory, or warehouse experience. 4-5+ years of supervisory experience in a warehouse, stockroom, or materials control environment. Demonstrated experience owning or leading cycle count programs and inventory reconciliation. Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications, including forklift license. Preferred Qualifications Strong written and verbal communication skills, including reporting and variance explanation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for inventory and MOR reporting. Experience working in ERP-driven environments (Oracle, IFS, SAP, or similar). Strong understanding of inventory controls, SOX compliance, and audit requirements. Demonstrated use of problem-solving and continuous improvement methodologies. Experience supervising and coaching hourly employees in inventory-controlled environments. Knowledge of manufacturing operations and material flow within production facilities. Physical Requirements Ability to lift over 45 lbs. Frequent standing and walking. Frequent operation of vehicles (car, van, truck). Environmental & Safety Requirements Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE), including ear protection, gloves, eyewear, respirators, and masks as applicable.
