Description:

Cycle Counter / Inventory Control Clerk – Paris ON
As a Cycle Counter/Inventory Control person, you would be responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy within the facility and will monitor inventory levels and product movement; you will also be required to be in close communication with various departments within the organization on inventory-related matters on a daily and on-going basis.
Day shift available – 7:00am - 3:30pm – Monday to Friday

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Process accurate inventory controls, cycle counts, physical inventory counts
  • Analyze job costing for inaccuracies
  • Gather information and develop efficient solutions
  • Ensure accurate entry of invoices
  • Communicate effectively with purchasing, supervisors and other personnel as required
  • Set goals and objectives following Lean Manufacturing concepts
  • Monitor and control inventory integrity using ERP system
  • Investigate cycle count variances and document detailed explanations
  • Reconcile production and inventory when presented with variances
  • Verify stock availability from current inventory
  • Manage priorities and tasks efficiently with an ever-changing schedule
  • Operate and maintain proper product identification and location through computerized inventory control system
  • Research inventory discrepancies and make necessary corrections while collaborating with team members

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve effectively and efficiently
  • Strong computer skills and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Must have excellent attention to detail
  • Proficiency and understanding of MRP/ERP systems are an asset
  • Physically demanding position that requires continual walking, climbing and bending
  • Previous experience with parts in an industrial setting is an asset
