The Cypress Automation Test Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using Cypress to ensure the quality and performance of web applications. Implement Cypress best practices, including custom commands, fixtures, and reusable components. Integrate Cypress tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps). Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA, and collaborate with developers to resolve them. Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and automation reports. Perform cross-browser and responsive testing to ensure consistent user Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 5-8 years of experience in automation testing for web applications. Strong hands-on experience with Cypress.io (JavaScript or TypeScript). Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and DOM structure.
