Key responsibilities and duties To be actively involved in the development of services within the Cystic Fibrosis, respiratory medicine and the wider Dietetics Department. Provide leadership to the CF / thoracic medicine team including day to day leadership as well as one to one meetings and appraisals. To provide clinical advice and operational management in the absence of senior clinicians. Identification of relevant projects/service changes, participation in working groups/projects, implementation of changes and monitoring/audit of their impact.
Leading on the development of guidelines, standards and policies within Cystic Fibrosis. To demonstrate participation in the setting of standards and policies within the dietetics department. To demonstrate the identification and implementation of appropriate audit tools to evaluate and ensure optimal service quality. To participate in any national, regional or Trust-wide projects which may lead to improved patient care.
To identify and lead audits relevant to service improvement and patient care. To participate in research relevant to clinical area
