Role description: Our client, the Owner, is a leading European Utility Company based in Czech Republic, who is pursuing an exciting Nuclear New Build Programme. The first phase of the Programme (first unit [plant] with option for second unit) of identifying their technology partner has been completed. Arcadis is seeking highly experienced, technically capable and competent individuals, who are highly motivated with exemplary interpersonal and stakeholder skills with collaborative behaviours. The core focus is to assist and support the Owner team following completion of contract negotiation in project initiation and set up. Subsequently, transitioning to support the Owner team in the successful delivery of a large new build mega project. Arcadis are seeking flexible, dynamic individuals ideally to be based in Prague to at least December 2026, potentially beyond. Candidates wishing to travel on a more frequent basis may be considered for alternate role as some roles may be UK based with travel to / from Owner offices as required to support this highly challenging, interesting and potentially rewarding project. These roles present a genuine ‘once in a lifetime' opportunity on a governmental backed nuclear programme comprising exciting ‘mega' projects for the right individuals to add to their CV and take up the challenge. Role accountabilities: Arcadis is seeking proven experts at executive, senior or mid-level to lead the client interface and in-country Arcadis team in Prague, Czech Republic and experts to support the client and service delivery across a number of roles and areas of expertise. The following lists the desirable criteria. Recognised expertise in one or more of the disciplines listed at a senior level: Project & Programme Management Commercial Engineering & Technical Schedule & Risk Construction, Commissioning &/or Safety Other related disciplines to a Nuclear Power Plant considered Qualifications & Experience: Basic requirements: University Degree in a relevant discipline/ subject and/or proven relevant experience in the field Ideally multidisciplinary experience, e.g. An Engineer with Project Management or commercial experience, or other relevant multi-skilled experience ~10 years' experience within the Energy sector ~5 years' experience in Nuclear (incl. New Nuclear Build ideally, or Operations, Waste, Decommissioning) ~2 reference projects within the Energy or Nuclear field English language native and/or C1 (written & spoken) Candidates will have ideally characteristics including: Exemplary interpersonal & stakeholder management skills Proven client liaison and client development attributes up to and including Board level Experience of managing and interfacing with large multidisciplinary teams/mega projects (Conventional and/or Nuclear), ideally with Nuclear New Build experience Experience of major programme initiation and set up with large EPC type companies Team/Project/Business Management attributes, including personnel welfare and support, coaching, mentoring, team growth etc. Financial/Project acumen to monitor, control and report on costs, schedule, risk, growth aspects Knowledge and experience with the management of client, consultant and contractor teams Continue your career journey as an Arcadian.
