Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Assist the supervisor to oversee and coordinate the day-to-day activities within the hub to ensure smooth workflow and timely processes.
  • Manage and supervise all hub personnel, including operator and support staff, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities.
  • Assign tasks effectively based on team members’ skills, workload, and operational needs accordingly to the supervisor needs
  • Prepare and manage staff schedules, shift plans, and resource allocation to support operational demands.
  • Supervise warehouse and fleet operations to ensure goods flow efficiently from pick-up to on-time, in-full, and damage-free delivery.
  • Monitor inventory levels, asset availability, and storage conditions, ensuring optimal stock and resource management.
  • Enforce workplace safety standards and compliance with all relevant regulations and protocols.
  • Track individual and team performance, identify gaps, and ensure KPIs are met.
  • Maintain high standards of service quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction throughout the hub operations.
  • Investigate operational failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions for continuous improvement.
  • Partner with the Customer Service Team to resolve issues and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Engage with key internal and external stakeholders to align logistics strategies and minimize service disruptions.
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports on hub performance, logistics issues, and improvement actions.
  • Conduct regular team briefings, training sessions, and onboarding programs to build team capabilities.
  • Drive employee performance, engagement, development, and succession planning to maintain a strong and productive workforce.
