We are growing rapidly with a dynamic team that includes Creative, Account Service, Strategy, Ops, Production, Social, Digital and Partnership experts providing full-service creative agency work for the PepsiCo Foods US portfolio. The D3 team is a full-service creative agency that supports the PepsiCo Foods US business, working on iconic brands like Lay’s, Doritos, Tostitos, Smartfood, Cap’n Crunch and Quaker (to name just a few!). The Account Director role at D3 is responsible for leading and managing a group of strategic accounts for the in-house creative agency supporting our PepsiCo Foods US business. It is a unique role within the company that will help lead brand activations, account relationships, annual SOW development, and idea execution, including development of television and digital content. This role involves managing several direct reports, leading multiple accounts and multiple projects simultaneously including ownership of scopes, allocation of resources, and helping to manage a team of creative and production partners. Locations: Chicago, Illinois or Plano, Texas Responsibilities Oversight of multiple key brands/accounts within PepsiCo Foods US, including delivery of all scoped campaigns and projects and management of incremental out-of-scope work Build slides and decks while occasionally presenting activation ideals in partnership with creative and social teams to senior level business leaders Strategic thinker capable of leading the development of multiple brand’s creative strategy, annual plans, and specific projects with multiple stakeholders including internal and external agency partners and clients Build strong relationships with the client and cross-functional agency partners that demonstrate an understanding of their brands and business challenges Proactive ownership of projects and processes; Being sufficiently informed and personally involved, ensuring sound planning, great service and an excellent client/agency relationship, going above and beyond client expectations Build and maintaining strong relationships with other agency functions (i.e., Social, Studio Production, Creative, Strategy, etc.) with the objective of getting the best out of these partners Manage a team of account service team members that service brand teams internally – including performance reviews, managing career paths and growth opportunities within both account service and the company Oversee the management of pre-production, production and post-production of photo shoots and TVC projects, including timeline development, budgets, production agreements, pre-pro books, reviewing edits, VO records and shipping/trafficking of final assets Compensation & Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $ 132,200 - $ 262,400. Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process. Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 25% of annual salary paid out annually and an additional target payout of 10% of annual salary is paid out over 3 years following the end of the performance period. Long term incentive equity may be awarded based on eligibility and performance. Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement. Qualifications Client leader with at least 10+ years of experience in Account Management at an advertising agency; Experience in CPG is a plus Agency or in-house agency experience required Bachelor’s degree required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Zoom 6+ years of production experience required Project management skills including navigation of timelines, budgets and problem solving Exceptional mentorship, communication and diplomacy skills Excellent organizational skill and multitasking ability Strong consumer empathy and customer-centricity. Demonstrated ability to place the consumer at the heart of everything while leading creative teams and managing agency product Articulate and confident to lead senior-level client meetings and presentations Managerial skills – experience with managing multiple people, including career development and bandwidth planning, dealing with ambiguity across multiple clients for multiple brands, working in a matrix organization, etc. Must be willing and able to travel (approx. 20% of time)
