We’re now looking for a D365 Business Analyst to join our Digital Technology Team in Christchurch and play a key role in our Drive:365 Programme — migrating our legacy DMS into Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations. The Opportunity We’re looking for a D365 F&O Business Analyst to join us on an 18-month fixed-term contract based in Christchurch. This role is part of our Drive:365 Transformation Programme, a major initiative to migrate our legacy Dealer Management System (DMS) to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. Whether you’re an emerging Business Analyst looking to grow your career or an experienced professional ready to lead business engagement, this role offers a rare opportunity to work on a large-scale, business-critical transformation. What You’ll Be Doing You’ll act as the bridge between business and technology, helping shape how our future systems work. Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyse and document requirements Support the migration from legacy DMS (including Autoline) to D365 F&O Facilitate workshops and translate business needs into clear, actionable solutions Perform process mapping, gap analysis, and solution design Support system testing, validation, and documentation Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain and operations Provide Tier 2–3 support for D365 F&O where required Work closely with project teams to ensure successful delivery of the Drive:365 roadmap What We’re Looking For We’re open to a range of experience levels, but you’ll bring a mix of curiosity, communication, and analytical thinking. Core Skills (All Levels) Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences Solid analytical thinking and problem-solving capability Experience or exposure to business process mapping and requirements gathering Ability to build relationships and work closely with business stakeholders Knowledge of BABOK principles or business analysis frameworks Experience That Will Set You Apart Experience with D365 Finance & Operations (highly desirable) Exposure to Autoline or other DMS platforms Background in ERP, CRM, or enterprise systems Understanding of supply chain or distribution environments Experience with Power BI, SQL, or data analysis tools Familiarity with testing, documentation, and process improvement Why Join Us?
