POSITION OVERVIEW

MERP is seeking a highly skilled Dynamics 365 F&O Technical Architect to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will provide architectural leadership, technical design, and hands-on development support for Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations implementations across our government clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design scalable, secure, and robust technical architectures for D365 F&O implementations
  • Lead the technical solutioning, including integration architecture, data migration strategy, and customizations
  • Collaborate with functional architects and business analysts to ensure technical alignment with business goals
  • Develop technical design documents (TDDs), integration specifications, and deployment plans
  • Oversee development team deliverables, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards
  • Provide technical leadership during implementation, testing, deployment, and post-go-live phases
  • Troubleshoot performance, configuration, and environment issues
  • Stay current with D365 platform updates, features, and Microsoft roadmap

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX and/or D365 F&O technical development
  • Proven experience designing and deploying technical architecture for complex F&O implementations
  • Strong expertise in X++, Azure DevOps, LCS, Power Platform, and integrations using Azure services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, etc.)
  • Experience with data migration using Data Management Framework (DMF)
  • Excellent understanding of extensions, customizations, and performance tuning
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to interface with clients and stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 F&O or related technologies
  • Experience working with government or public sector clients
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation in Dynamics 365 environments

Pay: $130,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
