Job Summary We are looking for an experienced D365 Supply Chain Management (SCM) Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Manufacturing and Production modules. The consultant will be responsible for leading functional design, configuration, testing, and user enablement for Dynamics 365 SCM implementations, ensuring alignment with manufacturing business processes. Key Responsibilities Overall experience - 5 - 10 years Functional & Business Responsibilities • Lead end-to-end D365 SCM implementations with a focus on Manufacturing & Production • Conduct business process analysis, requirement gathering, and fit-gap analysis • Design and configure manufacturing processes in D365 SCM including: • Production orders (Discrete / Process / Lean) • BOMs, Routes, and Resources • Production control and shop floor execution • Capacity planning and scheduling • Configure and support: • Master Planning (MRP) • Inventory Management • Warehouse Management (WMS) • Procurement and sourcing (as it relates to manufacturing) • Translate business requirements into functional design documents (FDDs) Solution Design & Delivery • Work closely with technical consultants and developers to ensure correct solution design • Support integrations with third-party systems (MES, PLM, ERP, etc.) • Participate in data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities • Define and execute UAT scenarios, support UAT cycles, and resolve issues • Provide go-live and post-go-live support Stakeholder & Client Management • Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders and clients • Conduct workshops, demos, and end-user training sessions • Prepare functional documentation and user guides • Support presales activities including solutioning and demos (optional) Required Skills & Experience Mandatory Skills • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 SCM / F&O • Deep functional expertise in Manufacturing & Production modules • Experience in: • Production Control • BOM & Route Management • Master Planning (MRP) • Costing (Standard / FIFO / Weighted Average) • Strong understanding of manufacturing business processes • Experience in full lifecycle implementations (at least 2–3 projects) • Excellent communication and documentation skills Good to Have • Experience with Advanced Warehouse Management (WMS) • Exposure to Process Manufacturing or Lean Manufacturing • Knowledge of Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) in SCM scenarios • Integration experience with MES or external planning tools • Microsoft Dynamics certifications (SCM, Manufacturing) Required Skills & Experience Mandatory Skills • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 SCM / F&O • Deep functional expertise in Manufacturing & Production modules • Experience in: • Production Control • BOM & Route Management • Master Planning (MRP) • Costing (Standard / FIFO / Weighted Average) • Strong understanding of manufacturing business processes • Experience in full lifecycle implementations (at least 2–3 projects) • Excellent communication and documentation skills Good to Have • Experience with Advanced Warehouse Management (WMS) • Exposure to Process Manufacturing or Lean Manufacturing • Knowledge of Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) in SCM scenarios • Integration experience with MES or external planning tools • Microsoft Dynamics certifications (SCM, Manufacturing)
