About RippleMatch Daikin North America is seeking a professional individual for a Financial Analyst position at our DTTP – Waller (Houston), TX location. Essential functions Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans across procurement and/or manufacturing operation departments Build and maintain commodity and macroeconomic trends to identify financial hedging opportunities Analyze financial and operational performance, focusing on cost of goods sold (COGS), production variances, and inventory valuations Partner with Procurement, Operations, and Design Engineering teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements Perform standard cost reviews and analyze variances (PPV, labor, overhead) Month-end close responsibilities, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations Ad hoc analysis and reporting Must have · Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting with minimum GPA of 3.0 (Masters’ is a plus) · 0-3 years of experience in a finance or accounting function · Solid analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills · Proficiency in MS Office, in particular Excel and PowerPoint We value · A strong interest in manufacturing operations or cost accounting coursework · Bloomberg terminal experience for commodity analysis Why work with us?
