A Day in the Life: As a Dairy Department Clerk, you’ll help ensure our dairy section is fresh, organized, and fully stocked for our customers. You’ll rotate and shelve products, monitor freshness, maintain clean and visually appealing displays, and provide friendly assistance to shoppers. You’ll also support inventory accuracy and assist with receiving and placing orders to keep the department running smoothly. This role is active and fast-paced, requiring comfort working in cooler environments and being on your feet throughout the day. What you bring to the table: · Product Knowledge & Freshness Standards: Familiarity of food safety and freshness protocols, with a focus on maintaining product quality. · Inventory & Stocking Skills: Ability to manage inventory, rotate stock effectively, and ensure shelves are organized and full. · Customer Service: Friendly, helpful attitude with the ability to assist customers and communicate clearly. · Attention to Detail: Strong observational skills to monitor product dates, cleanliness, and display standards. · Physical Stamina: Comfortable working in refrigerated environments and staying active throughout the shift. · Team Collaboration: Willingness to partner with teammates and contribute to a positive store environment. · Basic Technical Skills: Familiarity with handheld inventory devices and basic computer systems for order tracking and receiving.
