Overview:
MaverickXM is an event-based marketing company looking for individuals who are enthusiastic and are looking to interact with new people every day. We are looking for talented and motivated students to join our dynamic Dairy Farmers of Canada (DFC) Campus Ambassador team.
The DFC Campus Ambassador program aims to foster a strong connection between DFC and university aged students. Ambassadors will act as liaisons between the Dairy Farmers of Canada and their respective campus communities, promoting awareness of the Canadian dairy industry and its sustainability initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Brand Promotion :
  • Raise awareness about the Canadian dairy industry and its contribution in environmental sustainability.
  • Organize events, campaigns, and initiatives
  • Serve as a point of contact between DFC and the campus community, facilitating communication and collaboration.
  • Engage with student groups, clubs, and organizations to have DFC be involved
  • Content Creation and Social Media:
  • Create engaging content (e.g., videos, social media posts)
  • Collaborate with DFC’s marketing team to develop content strategies and campaigns targeting university students.
  • Event Coordination:
  • Organize campus and off campus events
  • Coordinate participation in campus initiatives (breakfast programs, food banks), fairs, and other relevant events to showcase DFC

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled as a full-time student at a Canadian university or college.
  • Passionate about sustainability, agriculture, and promoting Canadian dairy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experienced with social media platforms (instagram).
  • Leadership experience or involvement in campus organizations is an asset.
  • Knowledge of dairy farming practices and the Canadian dairy industry is desirable but not required.
  • Bilingualism is an asset but not required.
