• Perform milking duties using appropriate equipment and techniques to ensure high-quality milk production.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the milking area and equipment.
• Monitor the health of the animals during milking and report any concerns to the dairy manager.
• Moving cows to the milking parlour & cleaning of cow beds.
• Use of machinery to bed cow cubicles & scraping of yard/passageways.
• Assist with general care of the livestock outside of milking hours.
• Operate milking machinery and other farm equipment as needed.
• Engage in basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
