Work Schedule
This position is for part time work two days per week. Normally Mondays and Thursdays, starting at 07:00-08:00. Flexibility is required, as this is a dairy processing plant located on a working dairy farm making fresh products on demand. Schedule may vary occasionally based on season and circumstances. As much notice as possible will be given.
Duties:
- Operate and maintain plant equipment and machinery.
- Assemble/Disassemble equipment to clean and sanitize.
-Clean and sanitize all working surfaces and areas.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in proper working order
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, sanitary and organized work area.
- Record and report production data and any equipment or process abnormalities
- Perform and complete any tasks assigned, in a careful and safe manner.
Skills:
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor as required
- Follow instructions carefully and not deviate from methods demonstrated to complete a task.
- This position requires a high level of responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety.
