Join this supportive and friendly team who all work well together, as 2IC you will also work closely with the Farm Manager. You will help to implement farm plans and take on a degree of responsibility for feed allocation, animal health and breeding and animal records. You will also be happy to muck in and support the team where needed. On the Farm Managers Day off, you will take responsibility for the team, ensuring everything runs smoothly. ABOUT US Pāmu Landcorp Farming Limited is a State-Owned Enterprise with over 110 farms across New Zealand. THE FARM Located ten minutes south of Westport, Tram Road Dairy is a unique dairy farm due to its undulating terrain and significant amount of QE2 and DOC reserves within its boundary. Responsibilities
Act as the second-in-charge (2IC) to the Farm Manager, overseeing feed allocation, animal health, breeding, and records. Take full responsibility for the team and farm operations during the Farm Manager's absence.
