Role Overview We are looking for Service Technicians to diagnose, repair, and maintain technical dairy equipment on customer farms. This role is perfect for those who enjoy hands-on troubleshooting and building long-term relationships with the agricultural community. Which Level Are You? We are hiring for various skill sets and will provide training for the right candidates: Entry-Level / PM Technician: Ideal for those with a strong work ethic and basic mechanical aptitude. You will focus on scheduled preventative maintenance and learning the ins and outs of milking systems. Intermediate Technician: Requires 1+ years of experience in trades like electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or welding. You will handle more complex diagnostics and independent service calls. Specialized Technician (Refrigeration): For those with specific expertise in refrigeration (EPA certification required). You will lead advanced repairs and system optimizations. Requirements Key Responsibilities Diagnose & Repair: Troubleshoot technical problems with milking equipment, milk tanks, sorting gates, and herd management systems. Customer Support: Provide excellent service during field visits and build positive rapport with farm owners. Documentation: Produce timely service reports and maintain accurate records of time and parts used. Safety & Biosecurity: Strictly follow company and farm biosecurity protocols to protect animal health. On-Call Rotation: Remain reliable during scheduled on-call timeframes to support our 24/7 dairy partners. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Skills: Strong troubleshooting ability and proficiency with trade tools. License: Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (to operate company vehicles). Physical: Ability to lift up to 70 lbs., climb ladders, and work in various farm environments. Mindset: A positive attitude, "can-do" spirit, and a passion for supporting the dairy industry.
