We are looking for a Dams Engineer to join our Water Dams team based in Brisbane. In this role you will work on hydropower and water dams projects in a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, scientists and designers. This is a technical role focussed on conceptual and detailed engineering design and investigations of water related infrastructure, maintaining design in accordance with relevant standards, guidelines, and specifications.

This role will give you the opportunity to:

  • Apply and develop your dam engineering skills in by working on complex engineering projects.
  • Work with a team of world-recognised engineers on domestic and international projects with potential for travel.
  • Have a direct impact and solve some of the most complex problems in the bulk water infrastructure sector.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment, with high value placed on quality and technical excellence.
  • Work on projects including owners engineering services, design of large multidisciplinary projects, quantitative risk assessments and dam safety reviews, site-based investigations and construction supervision.

Attributes and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)
  • CPEng / RPEQ certification or eligibility to apply within 12 months of joining.
  • Demonstrated experience in dam design and construction.
  • Proficiency in engineering software and tools.
  • Strong understanding of environmental and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
