Lambeth and Balham Gymnastics Academy is a vibrant and inclusive academy that champions diversity and representation in gymnastics, tumbling, acro, and dance. We are passionate about providing safe, inspiring spaces for children and young people to thrive, learn, and perform, while building confidence and resilience through movement.

THE ROLE

We are seeking energetic and skilled Tumbling Dance Teachers to deliver engaging classes across acro, tumbling, and performance dance. You will work with children and young people aged 3–16, teaching safe skill progressions, combining gymnastics technique with creative choreography, and helping to prepare them for showcases, competitions, and performances.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and deliver exciting and progressive tumbling dance/acro classes.
• Teach skills such as rolls, walkovers, aerials, handsprings, flips, and acrobatic transitions.
• Incorporate dance technique, flexibility, and performance skills into routines.
• Provide a safe and inclusive environment where every child feels supported.
• Motivate students of all abilities to develop their confidence and skills.
• Collaborate with other teachers and coaches across the academy.
• Support academy events, including end-of-term shows and competition preparation.
