OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance/Cheerleading/Gymnastics Coach to lead our after school clubs in multiple primary schools around Essex (all schools are within a 15 mile Radius of Colchester). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coaching and a desire to educate and inspire young athletes. This role involves developing dance/cheerleading/gymnastics skills, promoting teamwork, and fostering a positive environment for all participants. This is a part time position for all after school clubs Monday-Friday. This would be a self employed position.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Drivers licence and access to a car is necessary for this job role.
  • Willing to have an enhanced DBS Check.
  • Qualifications and experience in teaching required.

SKILLS

  • Proven experience in dance, cheer and gymnastics coaching.
  • Strong ability to educate athletes on techniques, safety measures, and teamwork principles.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey instructions and feedback.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes while maintaining a positive atmosphere.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage training schedules and lesson plans.
  • Confidence working within a school environment with all ages.
  • Strong and effective behavioural management skills.
