JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Dance Instructor to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various dance styles and the ability to inspire and motivate students of all ages. As a Dance Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in developing students’ skills, fostering their love for dance, and creating an inclusive and enjoyable learning environment.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience as a dance instructor or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in one or more dance styles with an understanding of teaching methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate students effectively.
  • A background in performance is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging dance lessons tailored to the needs of students at different skill levels.
  • Teach various dance styles, including but not limited to ballet, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, and tap.
  • Develop lesson plans that incorporate technique, creativity, and performance skills.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their technique and confidence.
  • Organise and participate in recitals, competitions, and other performance opportunities.
  • Maintain a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for dance.
  • Collaborate with other instructors to create a cohesive curriculum that meets the studio’s goals.
  • Ensure the safety of all students during classes by maintaining a clean and hazard-free environment.
