JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Dance Instructor to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various dance styles and a love for teaching. This role in particular involves a pre-primary level ballet class in a primary school (3:20-4:20 Wednesdays), however within the company there is opportunity to build your portfolio of classes in your local area. MUST HAVE ENHANCED DBS + FIRST AID OR BE WILLING TO OBTAIN THESE ASAP

SKILLS

  • Strong proficiency in multiple dance styles
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate students
  • Patience and adaptability to cater to different learning styles
  • Strong organisational skills to manage lesson plans and student progress
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Previous teaching experience is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm for teaching is key
  • A background in performance or choreography is an advantage
