Dance Teacher
£25 per hour
Location: South London
Dynamic Coaching is dedicated to improving, increasing and promoting opportunities for children and young people in sport, fitness and physical activity.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Dance Teacher that can deliver a range of programs for young people. Programs include, lunchtime and after school clubs, PE sessions, holiday camps and weekend clubs at schools in and around the London borough of Bromley, Bexley, Lewisham and Greenwich.

The Dance Teacher will need to be:

  • Passionate about helping children build confidence through movement and creative expression.
  • Experience in teaching children across a range of ages and dance styles.
  • Positive, energetic and an excellent communicator.
  • Able to adapt dance routines and teaching style to suit different age groups and abilities.
  • Excellent at managing behaviour to ensure safe, enjoyable and inclusive sessions.
  • Highly organised and punctual with a strong sense of professionalism.
  • At least 2 years experience delivering dance sessions to children and young people.
  • A qualified dance teacher (Level 2 or above or equivalent) with relevant training.
  • Willing to undergo CPD and stay current in dance education trends.
  • Able to provide an up-to-date DBS certificate (or be willing to apply for one).

Main duties will include:

  • Planning and delivering inspiring dance sessions.
  • Teaching technique, rhythm, choreography and movement in a fun and engaging way.
  • Acting as a positive role model and mentor for all pupils.
  • Encouraging creativity, discipline and confidence in all participants.
  • Maintaining high standards of health and safety and safeguarding.
  • Supporting the growth of the dance program and assisting with events or showcases where required.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £25.00 per hour
