WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re seeking someone who

• Brings energy, warmth and presence to a room
• Understands how to engage and inspire young people, especially secondary aged students
• Can work independently and manage a group with confidence
• Believes in the power of dance to build self-esteem and connection

REQUIREMENTS

• A recognised dance qualification (college, university or industry-accredited)
• Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
• Availability between 3pm – 4.30pm during term time
• A full UK driving licence and access to transport
• First Aid certification is highly desirable
• Experience working with secondary school students is preferred

We’re looking for a talented freelance dance teacher to lead after-school street dance sessions for secondary school students in schools within the Stockport area. These sessions run between 3pm and 4.30pm.
You’ll be responsible for delivering inclusive and engaging street dance sessions that build confidence and creativity. We’re looking for someone who can create a space where every student feels they belong whether they’ve danced for years or are stepping into a session for the first time.
