JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an awesome, skilled Dance Teacher to join our vibrant team in a principal teaching role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various dance styles (including acro) and possess the ability to inspire and motivate students of all ages (3-18 and adults). This role involves teaching dance classes, creating engaging lesson plans, and fostering a positive learning and nurturing environment that encourages creativity and confidence for our dancers. This is a full time position including working evenings and Saturdays. Some basic admin will also be expected but full training for this will be given.

SKILLS

• Strong proficiency in multiple dance styles with previous knowledge of RAD and ISTD syllabus a great advantage.
• Excellent communication and people skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to adapt lessons as needed.
• Patience and enthusiasm for teaching diverse groups of students.
• Strong organisational skills to manage class schedules and student progress effectively.
• Previous teaching experience or relevant qualifications in dance education a must.
• experience teaching Acro and certification with a recognised body highly desirable.
• Full driving license preferred.
