THE ROLE

We are seeking a dynamic Dance Teacher to lead engaging, skills-based classes for students aged 6–16. You will deliver weekly sessions, teach choreography, and contribute to show terms, demo days and skills terms.
Location: Ocklynge Junior School, Eastbourne
Hours: Every Saturday in term time, 10:00 – 13:00
Start date: Saturday 13 September 2025
Pay: £25 – £28 per hour (experience dependent)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and deliver high-energy dance classes that build technique, performance skills and confidence
• Teach and clean age-appropriate choreography across styles such as jazz, musical theatre and contemporary
• Differentiate for mixed abilities and create an inclusive, encouraging classroom culture
• Prepare students for in-house shows and external performance opportunities
• Collaborate with other teachers to align themes and learning aims across the term
