Description

We are a city based GP Practice seeking a full-time Data Administrator to join our expanding friendly team. Experience of Vision and Docman would be an advantage but not essential. The successful candidate must be able to handle a fast-paced environment where they will be dealing with a variety of duties on a daily basis. We have a team of 5 GP Partners, Business Manager, Practice Manager, who make up the Management Team, 6 salaried doctors, 1 Advanced Nurse Practitioner, 2 Practice Nurses, 3 HCA’s, an MSK Physiotherapist, a Mental Health Nurse, 3 pharmacists and 1 Pharmacy technician. Our administration team consists of 1 Team Leader, 6 admin assistants, and 2 data administrators. The ideal candidate will report to the Business Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and summarising medical correspondence, coding relevant information and updating our clinical system to ensure accurate and timely patient information. Prior experience within a GP Practice, or similar healthcare setting is highly desirable.
Strong attention to detail, and understanding of medical terminology, and a solid grasp of data protection and confidentiality protocols are essential.
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, capable of working independently, and confident of using their own initiative to manage tasks and prioritise effectively.
