REQUIREMENTS

  • Deep experience with Databricks (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Workflows, MLflow) and modern data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture, including data lakes, lakehouses, data mesh, and streaming architectures
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and articulate technical strategies in business terms
  • A natural storyteller and communicator with a consultative mindset and ability to lead without authority
  • Experience in both pre-sales and delivery, capable of switching between execution and strategic advisory modes
Responsibilities
  • Diverse Data and AI Disciplines
  • Manage and harmonize efforts across diverse data disciplines, aligning delivery with strategic business outcomes
  • Serve as a bridge between business and technology, translating complex business needs into scalable data platform solutions
  • Create and promote key technological assets such as blueprints, reference architectures, accelerators, and methodologies across data modernization efforts
  • Provide technical oversight on end-to-end data engagements, from discovery and MVP to enterprise-scale delivery
  • Lead EPAM customers in solving complex business and technological challenges
  • Migrating legacy data and analytics platforms to modern cloud-native architectures (Databricks, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, etc.)
  • Integrating AI/ML capabilities into the data ecosystem and aligning them with business objectives
  • Designing and implementing robust data pipelines with high-quality gates, lineage, and governance
  • Establishing scalable and secure Lakehouse architectures using Databricks and related tools
  • Driving enterprise-wide federated data models and operating frameworks that enable collaboration, agility, and trust
  • Advising on enterprise data strategy across governance, MDM, metadata management, and architectural best practices
  • Build and sustain trusted relationships with senior business and technical stakeholders
  • Act as a thought leader and evangelist — communicating the business value of data and analytics while facilitating buy-in for transformation initiatives
  • Proactive about trying to solve customer problems
  • Collaborate with EPAM leadership to shape strategic investments and innovation in the Data & Analytics domain
  • Champion the development of internal IP (accelerators, templates, reusable frameworks) and strategic partnerships
  • Lead cross-functional advisory and delivery teams, ensuring actionable insights and measurable business value
  • Engage in digital opportunity assessments, technical discovery, and business case development
  • Contribute to proposal writing, RFP responses, pitch presentations, and technical solutioning
  • Effectively articulate and “sell” technical solutions in business-friendly language, with strong storytelling and communication skills
