Description

•    Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, or analytics, preferably within a regulated, government, financial services, technology, or gaming-related environment. Proficiency in Python or R, SQL, and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent BI platforms.

•    Bachelor's degree in statistics, data science, computer science, economics, information systems, or a related field; a master's degree or relevant professional certification is desirable.

•    Strong knowledge of statistical techniques, hypothesis testing, and predictive modelling.

•    Familiarity with regulatory, compliance, or risk management environments is preferred; prior exposure to the gaming industry is an advantage.

•    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

•    Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey data analysis results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

•    Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.

•    Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

•    Knowledge of data protection and privacy regulations related to handling sensitive gaming data is desirable.

•    Uses relevant IT, cloud, and data platform capabilities to support data collection, storage, processing, validation, and reporting activities for regulatory and analytical purposes.

•    Applies established information security requirements when handling, analyzing, and reporting data, and follows approved security controls and policies.

•    Conducts data analysis, statistical modelling, and data interpretation activities to generate insights, identify trends, and support evidence-based decision-making.

•    Understands relevant application, reporting, and data platform dependencies to help identify data issues and support effective use of analytical tools.

•    Applies awareness of regulatory, compliance, and assurance requirements related to data usage, reporting, and protection in a regulated gaming environment.

•    Provides data-driven analytical support for regulated and gaming-related activities as required, under the guidance of relevant subject matter experts.

•    Works with internal stakeholders, external entities, and data providers to support data quality, consistency, and effective use of analytical outputs.

•    Supports the alignment of data analysis activities, reporting, and insights with organizational priorities, regulatory objectives, and governance frameworks.
