QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in an analyst or reporting role
  • Strong SQL skills with experience querying large datasets (preferably Snowflake)
  • Experience with modern BI tools such as Sigma, Tableau, or Power BI
  • Familiarity with relational databases and cloud platforms (Supabase, Snowflake preferred)
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset

Nice to Have

  • Experience in financial services or advisor-focused organizations
  • Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce, Creatio, or Hubspot

JOB PURPOSE

Trajan Wealth is a rapidly growing Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) and Estate Planning firm dedicated to providing clients with personalized financial strategies. Our mission is to help individuals and families achieve financial security through expert guidance, fiduciary responsibility, and transparent service.
We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our data team and support the growth of our business intelligence and reporting capabilities.
The Data Analyst will be responsible for maintaining, refining, and expanding reporting deliverables across business functions. This role will serve as the key point of contact for business users-especially the operations and production teams-ensuring data is accessible, timely, and meaningful.
This would be a hybrid role with 1 or 2 days a week at our Corporate office in Scottsdale.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain and improve existing dashboards and reports built in Sigma, with data sourced from Snowflake and Supabase
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for operational reporting; collaborate closely with operations, client service, and production teams
  • Translate business needs into reporting requirements and data queries
  • Ensure data accuracy and troubleshoot data discrepancies by working across engineering and business teams
  • Develop and document standardized metrics, KPIs, and report definitions
  • Identify opportunities for automation and reporting optimization
  • Support the onboarding of new team members and business users on self-service tools
  • Contribute to data governance efforts by assisting with the creation and maintenance of a business glossary and data dictionary
