About the Role

The Data Analyst is responsible for developing and implementing the organisation's data, reporting and health intelligence functions to support evidence-based decision-making, advocacy, research, evaluation and continuous improvement.

You’ll analyse data from population health, government, Aboriginal health, survey and program sources, applying data analytics, epidemiology and population health principles to identify trends, monitor outcomes and inform strategy.

Working across the organisation and with external stakeholders, you’ll develop dashboards, reports, indicators and evidence products that support Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services, Closing the Gap priorities and improved health outcomes.

The role also promotes strong data governance, quality, integrity and Aboriginal Data Sovereignty, while building organisational capability in using data and evidence.
