Position overview This position reports to the Senior Director of Analytics & Technical Account Management; it works to standardize and automate analytical processes. In this role, you will join a team of Data Analysts who support our clients by delivering media quality analysis, campaign reporting, and optimization opportunities to advertisers, agencies, and publishers alike. You’ll be responsible for developing and automating reporting workflows and insights tools for both internal and external use. Day-to-day activities will include SQL querying, Excel modeling, client reporting and insight delivery. We’re seeking a candidate with 2+ years of experience in programmatic advertising and digital media analytics, but all analytical experience will be considered. We have a NYC office and a London WeWork, but operate as a remote-friendly company with flexible work options. We offer: Access to a broad network of investors and advisors who can help you and your team succeed Mentorship from executives with decades of experience in adtech and media Regular internal knowledge-sharing sessions An education budget to support ongoing professional growth and development In this role you'll learn: Gain a deep understanding of attention metrics and media quality measurement Work alongside Senior Analysts and Data Scientists to build scalable solutions for our business Learn how business units collaborate by working within a transparent, cross-functional environment Network with industry leaders to drive adoption Core responsibilities Use SQL and Excel to explore, clean, and filter data in preparation for analysis Collaborate with other teams to ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency Aid in the automation of analytics processes using Python and Excel modeling Create reports and dashboards that communicate key findings and trends to clients Provide client support by answering questions, resolving issues, and providing guidance on how to use our platform and metric Stay updated on the latest developments and best practices in the digital media industry What you'll bring Client Engagement & Insight Delivery – Experience communicating directly with clients to present findings, answer questions, and translate analytical results into actionable recommendations; able to build trust, tailor insights to different audiences, and support strategic decision-making through data SQL Proficiency - ability to write, optimize, and debug SQL queries; solid understanding of data modeling concepts and warehouse best practices a plus Excel Expertise – command of Excel, including pivot tables, lookup functions, and formula-based analysis to support data exploration and reporting tasks; working knowledge of Macros a plus BI & Visualization Tools - Hands-on experience with BI/dashboarding platforms (e.g. Looker, Tableau); familiarity with semantic modeling layers a plus (e.g. LookML, dbt) a plus Programming Skills - familiarity with Python for data transformation, scripting, and automation; experience with associated libraries (e.g. pandas, openpyxl) a plus Data Quality & Testing - Strong attention to detail in building data validation, profiling routines, and root cause analysis workflows Communication & Collaboration - Excellent interpersonal skills with experience working cross-functionally; ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences and deliver training/support Educational Background & Experience - Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, technical, or analytical field (e.g. Computer Science, Math, Physics, Engineering) or a rigorous coding bootcamp with a portfolio demonstrating the above skills Additional information This position will be employed through Rippling’s local Employer of Record (EOR) entity which will act as the legal employer.
