ROLE: Data Analyst REPORTS TO: VP of Supply Chain and Strategic Sourcing LOCATION: Burnaby, BC At Agrifoods, we are in the middle of a major digital transformation—moving to NetSuite and modernizing how we manage data, reporting, and decision-making across the business. This role is a mix of data analytics and systems analysis: you’ll help deliver a successful implementation (data validation, migration support, reporting, testing) and then transition into ongoing reporting enablement, governance support, training, and continuous improvement. You have excellent computer skills, advanced knowledge of excel & experience with ERP (Oracle NetSuite) Nice-to-Have Any Supply Chain certification Microsoft Power BI certification Advanced Excel Skills things you will do… Develop yourself into becoming the Master User of the data that we currently use and will use in future Supporting Data cleansing, gathering data, uploading, and building reports. Develop automated KPI reporting to give business timely visibility and the ability to make decision. OTHER … You might need to work flexible hours based on business needs ___________________________________________________________________________________ Detailed Description of Duties: During NetSuite Implementation (Project Delivery) Support data collection, cleansing, mapping, and validation for migration activities (master data and transactional data as required). Support cutover and hyper care: monitor issues, triage root causes, and coordinate resolution with internal teams and implementation partners. Gather and document requirements for reporting, dashboards, and operational insights; translate needs into clear specs. Build and refine reports/dashboards in: NetSuite Reporting NetSuite Analytics Warehouse (NSAW) Support downstream reporting for Power BI / Tableau where applicable Support integration and reporting feed validation (e.g., ensuring data lands correctly for analytics and planning). Contribute to the foundations of data governance: definitions, owners/stewards, standards, and quality checks. Assist with change management and communications: ensure changes are documented, tested, approved, and communicated. Post-Implementation (Ongoing Support & Optimization) Maintain and enhance reporting in NetSuite + NSAW; develop new dashboards and self-serve reporting patterns. Support ongoing data quality: monitoring, exception reporting, root cause analysis, and recommendations. Help keep master data aligned with governance standards (requests, approvals, documentation, audits). Support end-user enablement through training, job aids, SOPs, and “how-to” guidance. Identify opportunities to reduce manual workarounds and improve process and reporting efficiency.
Responsibilities
During the NetSuite implementation, the role involves supporting data collection, validation, requirement gathering for reporting, and assisting with change management and cutover activities. Post-implementation, responsibilities shift to maintaining and enhancing NetSuite reporting, supporting ongoing data quality, and enabling end-users through training and documentation.
