EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Associate’s degree in Business Administration or related field; or, equivalent experience in Billing and Collections. LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION: N/A ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Modifies and maintains policies, continually seeking mechanisms to streamline and automate processes. 2. Builds and maintains corporate, vendor and payer relationships 3. Responsible for managing, planning, organizing, training and monitoring staff development in order to ensure receivables are submitted accurately within the standards set by the Medical Center leadership and regulatory guidelines. 4. Implements new applications and upgrades to systems to ensure department efficiency as well as departmental policy and procedures to support department efficiency. 5. Provides leadership and direction in developing and maintaining systems, processes and workflows to ensure the corporate revenue cycle is compliant with federal and state regulations as they apply. 6. Works closely with other department directors, associate directors, managers, physicians, Corporate Revenue Cycle staff, information technology staff as well as third party payers as applicable. 7. Develops and maintains a harmonious work environment. 8. Exhibits effective interpersonal skills and provides direction and assistance to assigned personnel in development of these skills.
