Description The Data Analyst and Business Intelligence Developer will use Microsoft Power BI skills to manage the data warehouse and turn data into engaging dashboards. This role requires business insight to support and enhance ME Global’s Power BI usage for current and future needs. The position calls for effective multitasking and prioritizing across various processes, with discretion and independent judgment in supporting the business. Responsibilities also include analyzing, gathering, and documenting requirements to align with business objectives. This position offers the opportunity to directly shadow the current employee in the role for 3 to 5 months. In addition, you will receive direct support from both external Power BI consultants and an internal team of SAP professionals. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and maintain data warehouses by monitoring their performance, resolving issues, and optimizing systems to ensure efficient operation. Systematically process, clean, and consolidate large datasets from multiple sources to guarantee accurate, complete, and consistent data. Craft and implement data modeling strategies so the organization's information is well-structured and readily available for thorough analysis. Collaborate with the global IT team on various projects and initiatives. Actively monitor and troubleshoot Microsoft Data Factory pipelines that feed Power BI reports to ensure dependable data integration, top performance, and timely, accurate analytics for stakeholders. Design and implement cost-effective solutions in Microsoft Azure to support the Power BI platform. Provide support for break-fix issues, enhancement requests, and production problems. Maintain the integrity of master data in essential systems and manage processes to uphold data quality. Communicate effectively and deliver user training on Power BI dashboards and reporting tools. Gain experience with and assist in supporting other internal operating systems used at ME Global. Collaborate & support IT team members outside of your direct functional area. Requirements Education/Experience Required: Minimum of a four-year college degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance or other relevant subject areas 4-7+ years professional experience in IT, Business, Manufacturing or a related field Skills Required: Proficient in data warehousing technologies, ETL tools, SQL databases, and dimensional modeling Advanced SQL scripting skills Experienced in designing and maintaining star and snowflake data models Skilled with Microsoft Power BI, DAX, and Power Query (M) Familiar with Microsoft Fabric and Azure SQL Server Ensures data quality, validation, and reconciliation across sources Knowledgeable in Azure data services and cloud-based BI solutions Strong communication and facilitation skills; adept with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive Able to gather, document, and translate business requirements into reporting solutions Provides BI tool/report support and end-user training Skills Desired: Demonstrated working knowledge of SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and/or Salesforce. Proven ability to engage and collaborate effectively with global teams. Background in manufacturing and/or foundry environments.
