Data Analyst and Reporting Specialist (f/m/d)

The Operations Network & Strategy department is responsible for the strategic development of HENSOLDT's global operations network. This includes, among other things, the strategic alignment of production capacities with customer needs, the management of performance initiatives, and ensuring transparency across all production and logistics sites. As part of this department, you will work closely with the operations areas (including production, logistics, quality, and supply chain) and drive regular reporting to top management and the Executive Board on production results, key performance indicators, and strategic initiatives. Through in-depth analyses and evaluations, you will support the continuous improvement of our operational performance.

Your tasks

Creation, further development and automation of reports and dashboards on operational key performance indicators (KPIs).
Processing and analysis of large data sets to identify trends, deviations and optimization potential.
Ensuring consistent and meaningful board reporting
Support in defining and further developing KPIs in the operations environment
Further development of reporting standards and harmonization of data sources
Close collaboration with other operations departments, divisions and specialist departments such as IT and Finance
Support with planning, forecasting and target tracking in the operations area
Preparation of management presentations, decision-making documents and ad-hoc analyses
Coaching of executives and teams to work in a data-driven manner

Your profile

Completed studies in the field of economics, industrial engineering, data analytics or a comparable qualification
Several years of experience in data analytics, reporting or controlling, ideally in a production environment
Excellent knowledge of data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel)
Strong analytical skills and a structured work approach
Ability to present complex issues in an understandable and audience-appropriate manner
High level of initiative and confident demeanor when dealing with different stakeholders
Very good German and English skills
