Boeing Canada Operations Limited is seeking a Data Analyst, reporting to the Senior Manager of Business Operations and Development working out of the Winnipeg, Manitoba office. This role is 100% onsite.
This role is an integral part of the Boeing team, helping to analyze and interpret data to support business decisions and program initiatives. The position requires experience collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to successfully deliver actionable insights and data-driven solutions. Strong skills in SQL query writing, data visualization, and data management are essential.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a related data-focused role
  • Proficient in writing complex SQL queries for data extraction and analysis
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Must have advanced ability in the use of Microsoft Office products (i.e. Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Must be legally able to work in Canada

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE):

  • Completion of post-secondary education in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Management Information Systems program or related field
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 considered an asset (PowerBI, Planner, Power Automate, Power Apps etc)
  • Experience in Aerospace, Aviation, or Manufacturing industries is an asset
Responsibilities
  • Creates compelling and insightful data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Analyzes large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvements and business growth
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights
  • Develops, writes, and optimizes SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from various databases
  • Monitors data quality and integrity, identifying and resolving data discrepancies
  • Supports reporting requirements by preparing regular and ad-hoc reports for program initiatives
  • Presents data-driven insights and recommendations to Boeing Leadership and other stakeholders
  • Works closely with IT and business teams to support data integration, testing, and deployment of analytics solutions
  • Identifies risks and data-related issues and proposes mitigation strategies
