BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3+ years of experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, and data visualization, including in a defense or government program setting
• Experience with statistical and general-purpose programming languages for data analysis such as Python, SQL, R, Excel, or Tableau
• Experience analyzing structured and unstructured data sources
• Knowledge of how to conduct in-depth analysis to support program decision-making and identify actionable insights
• Ability to create visualizations from large data sets in Tableau
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Statistics, or Data Science

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis or analytics in a weapon program office, defense, or government contracting environment
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and AI techniques
• Knowledge of logistics and maintenance data systems, including the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) or similar defense logistics platforms
• Master’s degree in CS, Statistics, or Data Science
• Certified Analytics Professional (CAP), Tableau Desktop Specialist, Certified Data Analyst, or Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certified Data Analytics Certification

Support defense acquisition and sustainment commands with life cycle logistics planning and execution. Apply specific functional knowledge, including working or general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance, and review or guide activities of more junior employees.
