We are looking for a self-starting Data Analyst with a proven ability at uncovering and sharing data-driven insight in an exciting fast-paced environment. You’ll have at least 1 years’ experience and be confident tackling problems like how to bring efficiencies to the engineer network and localised resourcing issues.
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our Operations team, working closely with the Planning department. This role will play a key part in shaping how we onboard and allocate resources across our engineer network, ensuring we operate efficiently and effectively every day.
What you’ll be doing:
- Developing a data-led onboarding strategy – identifying patterns, gaps, and optimisation opportunities in how and where we bring new engineers into the network.
- Analysing daily planning performance – using data to drive improvements in how we schedule, route, and utilise engineers across regions, ensuring we’re neither over nor under-resourced.
- Drill into engineer behaviour and uncover opportunities for better experiences
- Educate and encourage data-driven decision making throughout the operations planning department
- Keep up to date with current trends and developments within data. Select the best tools and products to allow us to use data more effectively.
- Maintain & continually optimise our use of existing tools (e.g. Looker Studio, Adobe Analytics, BigQuery)
- Analyse data to discover hidden trends; deliver insights and analysis with clear actionable recommendations
- Document analytics projects in a manner that ensures specific processes can be replicated and scaled across an organisation
Nice to haves:
- Experience with Adobe Analytics, Google Docs, Looker Studio and BigQuery
- Ability to write basic SQL queries
