Our ambition The Opportunity We're looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative Data Analyst to join our Business Analytics team in Sydney. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity where you'll play a key support role across reporting, system maintenance, and stakeholder engagement — helping to keep our business intelligence function running smoothly and accurately. What you’ll do Manage the Business Analytics Team inbox, acting as a first point of contact Log and track cards on the team's Jira board Conduct systems checks and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with the Systems Accountant Ensure all systems are kept up to date through ongoing maintenance Update report recipient lists and handling basic reporting queries Monitor, triage and resolve ServiceNow calls in a timely manner, or escalate as appropriate Document processes and maintain an up-to-date reporting calendar Support user training processes Maintain the Global BI Portal and liaise with relevant teams on updates Provide general team support and administration as required What you’ll bring Degree qualified in Finance or Business is preferred, though not essential Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Power BI Strong numeracy skills and the ability to identify errors in data and calculations A logical, thorough approach to analysing and resolving issues An interest in IT, systems analysis or accounting An innovative mindset and curiosity about AI and emerging technologies Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate clearly at all levels of the organisation, including Partners What you can expect from us We’re a world leading international law firm with a global team of over 6,000 professionals across 26 offices.
